| Under the lay leadership of Carol McClemens and Pr. Gwen King as supporting pastor, the Worship Ministry Team’s goal is to plan the most meaningful worship opportunities for the people of Calvary in order to carry out our mission to “Give Glory to God and Share Christ’s Love.” With planning regular Sunday services and special services of healing and prayer, as well as seasonal services for Advent and Lent, the Worship Ministry Team is always looking for volunteers!
Anyone with a love of worship and a desire to serve is asked to consider the following opportunities: Communion assistant, altar guild, Communion bread bakers, lectors, acolytes, ushers, singing in our choirs (both adult and youth), church decorators, technology assistance during service, and/or join the Planning Team or Liturgical Team.
An Overall Planning Team meets quarterly to plan overall seasonal themes and outline the basic framework of worship for the church seasons. In addition, the Liturgical Team meets monthly to plan details of individual services.
