Calvary Lutheran Church has been a pillar of the West Chester community for more than 80 years, with members who wonderfully live our mission of “Giving Glory to God and Sharing’s Christ’s Love!”

 

Although I have not served as Acting Pastor at Calvary for very long, in the time I have been here I have witnessed first-hand the commitment, energy and enthusiasm that our members have for Christ's ministry here and around the world.  Calvary has been blessed with many deeply faith-full and talented people who make participation in the life of the congregation a real privilege.

 

Inside Calvary’s walls you will find a variety of people at various stages of their spiritual journeys. Many members grew up here, and attend service with both their parents and children. Other folks moved to Chester County, and made Calvary their chosen spiritual home. Our focus is to provide friendship and guidance as you walk along your pathway with God.

 

Although we are one church within the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, Calvary is different things to different people: some attend for liturgical message presented through worship; others for the strong and diverse music program; and still others for the connections they make through our family and youth programs. Whatever your reason, we welcome you and encourage you to learn more about our church.
